In My Dreams celebrates with Paso fruit, what Spanish winemakers have known for generations- the perfect balance brought by combining bright Grenache with rich Tempranillo. When Matt planted the Tempranillo in 2007 it was only a dream that he might be able to make a blend featuring this varietal that was relatively unknown at the time.  The newest blend in the Linne Calodo Cannon, In My Dreams has quickly become a club favorite.

2018

58% Grenache, 18% Tempranillo, 12% Graciano, 6% Tannat, 6% Carignan

This is one of those wines you can never pin down as every sniff and sip brings another flavor, another revelation. Dark ripe nectarines, grilled blood orange, macerated strawberries, graham cracker, vanilla meringue, a perfectly cooked steak’s iron minerality, too many notes to include. Somehow the wine manages to be so round as to fill every corner of your mouth, and yet so smooth that it feels like silk on your tongue. Light and bright, while also dense and complex.  Drink it immediately or wait to see the layers develop and progress.  Enjoy now through 2028.

 Pairings
Elk Medallions, Duck Confit, Penne Norma, Carnitas Tacos (or make them with Jackfruit!), dry flakey cheeses like Mimolette.

2014

35% Tempranillo, 30% Grenache, 25% Mourvèdre, 10% Tannat

Tempranillo enters the main stage in this new blend of Linne Calodo Estate fruit. Heartier than a classic GSM with both Tempranillo and Tannat in the mix, this wine shows pomegranate compote, dried black cherries, cinnamon sticks and an iron rich minerality. The longer it lingers in your glass, the deeper and more complex the aromatics and flavors become. Right now, this beautiful blend shows notes of graham cracker alongside tobacco leaf and smoked meats. Boysenberries and bubblegum candies uplift, while cocoa nibs and rich dark chocolate take up the counter balance. Incredibly food friendly, drink now through 2022.

2016

27% Grenache, 24% Tempranillo, 20% Graciano, 15% Tannat, 14% Cinsault

This wine is fresh and lively, has a fresh acidity, quenching, bright red fruit and balance to endure time. Aged in a 300l foudre, a 2000l concrete tank, and a couple of 500l puncheons. A true testament to the Willow Creek District. Drink now through 2025.

2017

38% Grenache, 37% Tempranillo, 14% Graciano, 7% Mourvèdre, 4% Carignan

A striking, full-throttle wine built on intensity of dry-farmed Tempranillo and Grenache. Grilled ribeye that has been encased in warm spices like sumac and saffron. Blood oranges and peaches charred by the flames of an oak fire. The raw power of this blend races across your tongue to take hold in every crevice of your mouth. As the dark fruit and notes of meat begin to slowly drift away, the tannins take their time, with a dry and dusty grip that leads you reaching to take the ride again. Drink now through 2032.
