2017 Sticks & Stones
A special release of this now six year aged bottle of Linne Calodo's Sticks and Stones in honor of our 25th anniversary as a winery. Dark ripe strawberries, iron rich minerality, leather, hickory and hints of black tea create an intoxicating aromatic on this six year aged Sticks and Stones. Silken elegance as it fills your mouth, with chalky tannins that exert themselves mid pallet then melt away to a luxurious long finish. Black raspberry, grilled plum, baker’s chocolate, earth, and hints of black pepper towards the end. Fantastic to enjoy today, with the original primary fruit notes enhanced by the secondary character development and matured texture, will continue to age through 2034. Pairings: Wild Boar Ragu, Cassoulet, French Onion Soup, Olive Gremolata, Smoked eggplant
